This picture is of the moon rising over the Cimarron National Grassland Lesser Prairie Chicken lek. Malia and Jack and Dan got up at an incredibly early hour to see these amazing birds on their spring break trip.

Hi Wendy! I didn't forget about checking your blog - lightning fried our wireless router and I'm without internet access at the moment (typing on hubby's laptop). Now I'm here to nudge you to write more! :) I very much enjoyed our chat the other day, and perhaps we can continue through email. And we're both so lucky to have Sonia to offer us a halfway refuge/meeting spot for like minds!
